About BruBash<\/h1>

BruBash<\/strong> began as a family event hosted by ECS Technology Solutions to raise money for Breakthrough T1D<\/strong>. What started as a small company gathering has grown into an annual community tradition that brings people together to support an incredible cause while enjoying great food, drinks, live entertainment, and friendly competition.<\/p>

Held on 206th Street in Elkhorn, Nebraska, BruBash transforms the neighborhood into our own version of Oktoberfest. Guests can enjoy drink bracelets, live music, yard games like cornhole and Hammerschlagen, delicious brats and hot dogs, a silent auction, 50\/50 raffle, games with prizes, and more. Whether you’re attending with family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.<\/p>

Why We Support Breakthrough T1D<\/h2>

Breakthrough T1D<\/strong>, formerly known as JDRF, is the leading global organization dedicated to funding research and advocating for people living with type 1 diabetes. Since 1970, the organization has invested in groundbreaking research, championed policies that improve access to care, and provided resources and support for the T1D community. Their mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.<\/p>

Why BruBash Matters<\/h2>

BruBash is deeply personal to our team. Bryan Thompson, founder of ECS Technology Solutions, his daughter Lisa (owner of ECS), and James’ (Owner of ECS) daughter, Preighton, all live with type 1 diabetes. Their experiences inspired the creation of this event and continue to fuel our commitment to making a difference.<\/p>

What began as a fundraiser supporting Peighton’s Pack<\/strong> for the annual Breakthrough T1D Walk has evolved into a larger community event dedicated to raising awareness, supporting research, and bringing people together for a meaningful cause. Every dollar raised through BruBash helps fund research that moves us closer to a world without type 1 diabetes.<\/p>
